This flag had been flying above the Lake County Democratic Party headquarters (Tavares, Florida) for 2 months!!!
Only after thousands of angry e-mails, phone calls and a personal visit by United States Veterans was the flag finally taken down!
Altering the flag is in violation of the United States Flag Code which specifically states:
“The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure design, picture, or drawing of any nature.”
There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for this sort of behavior! It is as ignorant as it is arrogant and displays a total disrespect for our flag, our country, our military personnel (past and present) and the patriotic spirit of our people!
On November 6th … we MUST take our country back!
